  • A few thoughts on Spring. . .

     Well, today is the first day of the best (in my opinion) season of the year.  That which was a few weeks ago dead-looking is now covered in flowers.  This time of year makes me think of our new life in Christ.  Because, when you get right down to it, Spring brings new life to the plants and makes that which was lifeless beautiful.  When we accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, much the same happens to us.  God puts a new life in us.  Interestin' huh?

  • Finally back on!

    Hello, everyone!  I am finally coming back on more often.  Sorry for the EXTREMELY long pause in between posts.  I will update you on some of what has been going on soon.  Just wanted to say that I was not abducted by aliens or anything!  LOL!

  • My Weekly Praise

    Hello!  Here is my Weekly Praise!  Sorry it is so late!  I have been trying to get it on here sooner. 

    • First, I think it is important to thank God for this New Year.  I pray it is filled with blessings for us and our families.
    • Second, I want to thank God for the nice time I had on Christmas and New Years.   (Usually, I am supposed to use things from THIS week, but I am combining any time I did not do the post, since it has been more around 2 weeks).
    • Also, I want to thank God for His everlasting mercy toward us all!  Sometimes we tend to overlook this, but I just felt like I should include it in this one, especially with the New Year and all.
    • I thank God that I can share this with you all.  I think that I am benefitting from it and I hope y'all are, too!
    • With my Christmas break from school drawing near it's close, I want to thank God for the great time I've had.

  • My Weekly Praise

    Hey all!  Here is my weekly praise entry.  Sorry it's a bit late.  We had some last minute shopping to do, so I was not able to get on long enough last night to put in an entry.

    • Passed another Algebra 2 test.  God has really helped me through this first half of the school year.  Now I am out for around two weeks.
    • My brother is feeling a bit better.  (He was diagnosed with "walking pneumonia" the beginning of this week).
