!Urgent Prayer Request!

Hey, everyone! School is finally out! HOORAY!!! Tonight is "Honor's Night". I will write a longer note in soon. Things have just been so crazy around here.

I need you all to keep me and my school in your prayers. Next year, unless something happens, we will have about half of the students that we had this year. One of the teachers--the one that does the algebra (1 and 2), chemistry, geometry--has to move out of state so she will be unable to teach there next year. They do not even know if the school will be open next year. I was hoping to get a job teaching there after I graduate next year, also. I really want to graduate from this school. I have made friends there that have become like family to me. Please keep this situation in your prayers. We need as much prayer as we can get.

Wow! Has it really been this long since I was last on here? I did not realize how much I go online until our computer got a virus and completely locked up. We sorted it all out using a P.C. restore (if that is what it is called) to delete everything in our computer and start back the way it was when we first had bought it. Lost all of my pictures, but it was SO worth it to be able to get back online. I know this is very short, but now that the computer is fixed, I should be getting on here a lot more.

Hey! I have a quick question and I figured that maybe one of you all could help me out on it. I have a few videos in mind that I want to put on my page, but in order to put them on, I need something called an HTML code. I assumed that it was simply the website link, like if I was uploading pictures from Google or Yahoo. So I copied and pasted the link from YouTube into the HTML box, and a little window pops up on my screen saying that it had to be a "local file".

Usually I am pretty good with computers, but these codes have me baffled. Is it that I cannot use a video from YouTube, or that it would need to be a video that I put together on my own? Any amount of help will be very much appreciated.

Well, today is the first day of the best (in my opinion) season of the year. That which was a few weeks ago dead-looking is now covered in flowers. This time of year makes me think of our new life in Christ. Because, when you get right down to it, Spring brings new life to the plants and makes that which was lifeless beautiful. When we accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, much the same happens to us. God puts a new life in us. Interestin' huh?

Hello! Here is my Weekly Praise! Sorry it is so late! I have been trying to get it on here sooner.

First, I think it is important to thank God for this New Year. I pray it is filled with blessings for us and our families.
Second, I want to thank God for the nice time I had on Christmas and New Years. (Usually, I am supposed to use things from THIS week, but I am combining any time I did not do the post, since it has been more around 2 weeks).
Also, I want to thank God for His everlasting mercy toward us all! Sometimes we tend to overlook this, but I just felt like I should include it in this one, especially with the New Year and all.
I thank God that I can share this with you all. I think that I am benefitting from it and I hope y'all are, too!
With my Christmas break from school drawing near it's close, I want to thank God for the great time I've had.

My Weekly Praise

Hey all! Here is my weekly praise entry. Sorry it's a bit late. We had some last minute shopping to do, so I was not able to get on long enough last night to put in an entry.

Passed another Algebra 2 test. God has really helped me through this first half of the school year. Now I am out for around two weeks.
My brother is feeling a bit better. (He was diagnosed with "walking pneumonia" the beginning of this week).

Well, that is all for this week.

Hey. I was just wondering. . . Can any of you see the music widget that I put on my site on December 12th? Someone left a comment on my weekly praise post and said that she couldn't see whatever was in the December 12th entry.

Can any of you all see it, or did I do something wrong when I downloaded it?
